Effective Wednesday, December 4, 2013, the Center for Consciousness and Transformation has changed its name to the Center for the Advancement of Well-Being (or 'the center' or CWB).
The center's mission is to serve as a catalyst for human well-being and to help individuals and organizations thrive in a world of complexity and uncertainty. The new name reflects our growing work and agenda on well-being, including our role with Mason's Well-Being University Initiative. (Read our FAQ on the name change.)
We have made a number of updates to our new website (wellbeing.gmu.edu), have a new Twitter handle (@CWB_Mason), and have added a number of new events and opportunities including
- Leading to Well-Being: Thriving Together annual conference co-sponsored with MasonLeads on April 11th (tickets now on sale!)
- Well-Being Foundations of Personal Transformation certificate program (registration now open for Spring 2014 cohort)
- Mindful Living LLC applications for 2014-2015 now available
