CWB Senior Scholar Dr. James Maddux Gives Keynote Psychology Address at Romania's Oldest University

CWB Senior Scholar Dr. James Maddux just returned from a visit to Iasi, Romania, where he gave the keynote address at the 7th International Conference on Applied Psychology and Educational Science at Alexandru Ione Cuza University -- Romania's oldest university.

His talk was titled "Psychiatric Diagnosis: History and Current Controversies." This was Maddux's ninth visit to Romania in nine years as part of his continuing effort to help Romanian psychology's ongoing effort to develop as a science and a profession in the 30 years since the overthrow of the Communist dictatorship in 1989. Our center provided most of the funds for this trip.
