New Course Equips Mason Students to Engineer their Well-Being

Mason is partnering with the Isha Foundation to offer students the opportunity to foster their well-being through a one-credit course (GOVT 496) called "Engineer Your Well-Being", which will be available beginning in the fall 2021 semester. Created by world-renowned yogi, mystic, and visionary Sadhguru, Engineer Your Well-Being is based on Inner Engineering, a comprehensive course for personal growth derived from the science of yoga. The program encourages participants to explore their highest potential through powerful processes of self-transformation, distilled essence of classical yoga, meditations to address key aspects of life, and access to secrets of ancient wisdom. Engineer Your Well-Being offers a unique opportunity for self-exploration and transformation, leading to a life of fulfillment and joy.

This course will impart scientifically proven tools from the yogic sciences, allowing students to function at the peak of their capability. It is an opportunity to:

  • Stimulate mental sharpness, focus, and clarity, as well as creative thinking
  • Promote physical and psychological well-being, joy, vitality and engagement
  • Alleviate stress and burnout in college and work
  • Improve mental focus, clarity, and alertness
  • Increase energy levels and vibrancy through the whole system
  • Create emotional stability and deeper interpersonal relationships
  • Experience effortless joy and blissfulness in everything you do

The course will include online modules taught by Sadhguru, as well as live Q&A/yoga sessions with his team.
