SUMMARY:Intro to Mindfulness: Summer Part 2
DESCRIPTION:Mason students\, staff\, and faculty can learn more about mindfulness and meditation through two different four-week programs created by the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults (MIEA). \nThis evidence-based curriculum teaches mindfulness\, meditation\, and stress management in ways you can integrate into your busy life. Studies suggest that the training leads to significant well-being benefits\, such as better sleep\, less perceived stress\, and more self-compassion. \nWhile these programs are designed with young adults in mind\, the benefits are not limited to young adults\, so you’re encouraged to sign up regardless of your age. \nRegister for an opportunity to learn mindfulness and meditation techniques via Zoom: \n\nIntro to Mindfulness Part 2 on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. on July 8\, 15\, 22\, and 29 – Register here\n\n
