Student Union I, 1508
Join Mason's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for a free drop-in workshop that will focus on using various art media to promote self-exploration and growth. Art is a creative form of self-expression that can increase our sense of well-being by allowing us to express our emotions and release stress. We will alternate between planned activities and open studio time in which you can choose what to create.
These drop-in workshops are open to all enrolled Mason students. You may attend workshops as often as you find helpful. Registration is not required, but you may register if you like here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/artful-expressions-tickets-48485361020
These workshops are not a treatment group. In addition, these workshops may not address all personal concerns. If you experience significant changes in mood or feel that you may require further assistance, please contact CAPS at 703-993-2380. In case of an emergency, please contact your nearest emergency service. If you experience significant distress at the time of one of these workshops, please notify the presenter.
