About Mason Kindness Ambassadorship
Kindness Ambassadors are members of the George Mason community who are recognized by George Mason University and the Mason Chooses Kindness (MCK) team for their:
- Compassion and kindness towards others
- Enthusiasm about spreading kindness
- Positivity and joyfulness
- Joy in helping others
Why become a Kindness Ambassador?
Kindness Ambassadors receive:
- University-wide recognition for their kindness and its positive impact on the Mason community, including recognition from university senior leaders
- Mason Kindness Ambassador certificate and swag
- Opportunities for community engagement and networking through the MCK organization, its leaders, and partners across campus
How can I nominate someone?
Nominate a friend, colleague, or yourself today and let us celebrate kindness together! We welcome multiple nominations and are looking for a variety of nominators. We would appreciate it if you do not submit more than 5 nominations so that we can spread out the nominators and nominees throughout the George Mason community.
The nomination period for the 2026-2027 academic year is now closed. We will announce next year’s nomination period during the summer of 2027.
