Amber L. Myers, MPS, RYT, SHRM-CP, is a human resources business partner with approximately 11 years of experience supporting leaders, navigating organizational change, and advancing organizational well-being. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Industrial-Organizational Psychology from George Mason University and am a registered yoga teacher. Her writing and research interests explore the connection between yoga philosophy, leadership theory, and workplace well-being, and she is eager to contribute her practitioner perspective to interdisciplinary research that helps individuals and organizations thrive.
Her work explores how yoga philosophy and ethical leadership can support employee well-being and healthier organizational cultures, drawing on my background in human resources, applied industrial-organizational psychology, and yoga instruction. Beyond this specific focus, she’s eager to support others’ research, learn from interdisciplinary perspectives, and contribute to the research process more broadly. CWB’s mission resonates with my interest in connecting research with practical approaches that foster vitality, purpose, resilience, and engagement. She hope to contribute both my practitioner perspective and my curiosity to work that helps individuals and organizations thrive.
