Mónica Herrera is an executive coach, leadership consultant, and facilitator with 15+ years of experience working with leaders and organizations across industries and cultures. Originally from and based in Costa Rica, she brings a global, cross-cultural perspective to her work and coaches in both English and Spanish. She partners with leaders to help them lead from the inside out, strengthening their self-awareness, discovering their unique strengths, and navigating the complexities of leading in today’s organizations with greater intention.

Mónica has coached and facilitated leadership development programs for leaders across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, including co-facilitating leadership programs and providing one-on-one executive coaching for leaders at organizations such as Adobe and Capital One.

Prior to becoming an executive coach and leadership consultant, Mónica held leadership roles in finance, risk management, and audit at BAC Credomatic, Central America’s leading financial institution. This business background informs her practical, grounded approach to coaching and her understanding of the organizational realities leaders face.

Mónica is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program and holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is certified in the Leadership Circle Profile®, EQ-i 2.0®, and Team Management Systems, and has served on the Board of ICF Costa Rica.
