Betsy Levine Brown

Betsy Levine Brown is a scholar, educator, and leader in school mental health whose work focuses on advancing mental health literacy, strengthening the school-based workforce, and expanding access to evidence-based supports for youth. Her research and practice center on developing and implementing sustainable, systems-level approaches that reduce stigma, promote early intervention, and improve outcomes for students and the professionals who serve them. Committed to bridging research, policy, and practice, Dr. Levine Brown’s scholarship emphasizes resilience, well-being, and equity in school communities. She is dedicated to preparing the next generation of school-based mental health professionals and advancing innovative solutions that promote thriving, engaged, and supported learners.
